In the final segment of this week’s “WWE NXT,” Giulia and Roxanne Perez addressed questions from the media ahead of their WWE NXT Women’s Championship match. To everyone’s surprise, former CMLL Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer, who signed with WWE just months ago, asked a direct question.
“What are you going to do when I’m waiting on the other side of your NXT Women’s Championship match?” Vaquer asked. Perez and Giulia turned toward the Titantron where Vaquer appeared before refocusing on each other. With Vaquer’s image in the background, Perez raised her NXT Women’s Championship, while Giulia intently stared at the title.
Vaquer made her WWE debut in July at a Mexico City live event against former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn, shortly after her signing was announced. She has not competed since that weekend due to visa issues, but with her recent appearance on “NXT,” it appears those issues have now been resolved.
